Sunday evening is not my favorite day for cooking.  After winding down from a hectic week and a Saturday filled with kids’ activities, I like my Sundays to be peaceful, enjoyable and light on homemaking.  Plus, it is also a day we try to do family outings and get back home late.  Sunday is like my free day, I would skip Sunday dinner all together, but since wishes and reality operate in a different spectrum, often times, I have to serve Sunday dinner because my kids are still young and dining out every Sunday can also break a budget.

My solution has been to put a collection of 12 easy-to-make Sunday dinner recipes so that I can breeze through the cooking and wrap up the weekend in the best terms with everyone at home.  Easy-to-make for me means little preparation (few ingredients), fast cooking and little messing up the kitchen – trying to keep the cooking and cleaning up light.  Based on my definition, I chose these 12 easy-to-make dinner recipes for Sunday.

You can click through the slideshow to get to the recipes.  Let me know if you try them and find them ideal for Sunday dinner.
