Morning routine

Being a busy mom on the go does not always lend itself to a full night's rest nor plenty of time to get ready in the morning. Nevertheless, you would prefer not to look like you just rolled out of bed every morning, even though you may have done just that. Here are a few quick and easy tips to maintain a bright fresh look in five minutes or less.

Wake Those Eyes Up

A great way to wake up sleepy eyes is to rub cold milk on them. Just dab cotton balls into a cup of cold whole milk and rub all over your closed eyes. Milk contains Vitamin D and lactic acid which help to rejuvenate dead skin cells and moisturize dry skin. This is a great way to quickly reduce eye puffiness and under eye circles.

Less is Always More

If you are already tired, applying heavy eyeliner will only make your eyes look heavier. For a brighter look in the morning, just use mascara predominately on your upper lashes and lightly graze the bottom lashes. This will allow for a more natural look and will not accentuate any lingering under eye lines or circles.

Add a Splash of Color

Healthy lips and cheeks are usually indicated by a rosy tint.
