As moms on the go, we do not always have time nor the money to make standing appointments at our favorite high-end spas. But our tight schedules and budgets should not keep us from enjoying great facials every now and again.

Look in your own refrigerator to create a great homemade facial recipe full of vitamin A; perfect for softening the skin and reducing wrinkles. All it take is:

  • 1/2 mashed sweet potato
  •  one cup of apple sauce.

Mix in a bowl, apply with your fingers and leave it on for 5-7 minutes. Rinse off with a warm wash cloth and feel the rejuvenation immediately. Repeat as needed, immediately after the kids go to bed!
