This is one of my favorite vegetables, Artichokes!  I grew up pealing artichokes in Latin America.  However, they are not easy to trim when you have to do the cooking, I was a little girl then. The other day I was browsing around I bumped into this magnificent and well done post about how to trim an artichoke by SimplyRecipes.com.  This is how to trim an artichoke:

You’ll need a sharp paring knife, a large empty bowl for leaves, and a large bowl filled two-thirds with ice water.

Ingredientes

  • alcachofa
  • Un corte de limón fresco en medio

Method

¡A disfrutar!
