It's not a crazy thought.  Winter parks such as ski resorts/towns offer great summer activities as you wouldn't believe it! Here are some of the activities you can do: mountain biking,
hiking, volleyball, roller blade,
skateboard, golf, tennis, white water rafting and canoeing as well as kayaking.

Summer in the Rocky Mountains is a truly
wonderful experience, and if you're thinking of blue skies, sunshine,
great scenery, the great outdoors and temperatures in the 70's and 80's with no humidity, you may want to consider spending part of your summer there.

I personally love Colorado! It is for our family one of the best states for the great outdoors during the winter and summer seasons.  In fact, Winter Park is one of those ideal destinations for your summer getaway. Beaver Village is one of those resorts that have it all.  They can even help you plan your next your vacation to the great outdoors this summer.  Visit their site: for more info if this summer vacation idea sounds good to you.

There are many other places to explore and discover besides going only to the beach for your next summer adventure that being creative some times pays off and being the mountains is just as fun.

Enjoy and have lots of fun!
