It is Daylight Saving Time! Don’t forget to change the time in your home clocks forward this coming Sunday, March 8, 2015! And, yes, we lose an hour of sleep that we so much need, in exchange of an additional sunlight hour.

Daylight Saving Time (DST) results in extra light in the evening but less daylight in the morning for the next several weeks.  Just a friendly reminder to please be aware of this daylight shift and be cautious of students walking to bus stops and schools in the early morning hours before daybreak.

Spring into a new time forward!

– The Moms Buzz

Please note that Arizona (with the exception of the Navajo Nation) and Hawaii and
the territories of Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam and American Samoa are the only places in the U.S. that do not observe DST but instead
stay on “standard time” all year long.
