This is the time of the year, and for many it's even earlier, that we plan for our summer vacations and many of us make plans that require traveling by air.  Also, many of us belong to a frequent-flier miles program with select airlines.  Here are three good tips on how to maximize your frequent-flier miles so that you get the most out of the program!

Shop online. It takes a lot of frequent-flier miles to
pay for the average boarding pass, but there are ways to accumulate them
more quickly. Evreward.com lists online stores, such as Overstock.com
and Netflix.com, that “go the extra mile” and offer bonus miles when you
buy from them.

Choose a partner. Most major
airlines are part of international alliances, and many allow
frequent-flier bookings with other alliance members. When choosing a
frequent-flier program, “consider where you want to fly” and which
alliances have the best rates for traveling there.

Go for
the long haul.
Carefully pick where you want to fly. It’s best
not to waste your miles on “domestic coach flights.” Instead, be
patient. You might just be able to save enough for an international
first class or business class ticket.

My real job in life is raising my 3 kids and having a nice, healthy and active family life. Along the way, I realized that motherhood didn’t come with a manual and frequently asked questions so I had to learn my way through with the help and advice of other mothers and that is how I decided to start a blog about tips for busy moms, The Moms Buzz, a lifestyle blog about only the buzz that matters. Modern moms are busy busy, and whatever tips make our lives easier we are ready to try them, we don’t have the time to read and read lengthy advices, but we can certainly read 1-2-3-SOLVED.
