Who does not like yummy chicken nuggets? Yummy chicken nuggets are not only found at your favorite restaurants or at your pool snack bar, but you can also enjoy them at home.  On a regular basis, I try to have a couple of bags of chicken nuggets at home for convenience during the school year.  They get me out of a time bind, are cooked fairly fast and keep the kids happy.

In addition, I use chicken nuggets to include in my children’s lunch boxes.  You may have read in other posts that my children do not like cold lunch boxes so yummy chicken nuggets are part of my lunch box menu every week.

It is a good thing I live close to an urban Super Walmart because it has become my main go-to-store for groceries that are not too specific.  One of the things I like about Walmart, beside having the best deals and prices for what I would say, everything out there, is that it carries brands that contribute to make it easy for your local schools to raise funds, such as the Tyson Project A+™.

Tyson® has this program called Tyson Project A+™ to help raise funds for local schools through a variety of affiliated products to support this educational initiative. The other day, I purchased 3 of these products that are 100% natural, juicy and yummy:  Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips, Tyson® Fun Nuggets and Tyson® Chicken Nuggets to keep in my freezer for any eventuality.

Tyson Project A+™ Program

The Tyson Project A+™ program is one of the simplest ways to support your school. Just clip and collect Tyson Project A+™ labels from Tyson® participating packages. For every label submitted, Tyson will give the school cash and the school can use the money for whatever it needs. See an example of where to find the label below. and  I’d like I reiterate that there are many other Tyson® products affiliated with Tyson Project A+™ Program, to learn more go here: http://projectaplus.tyson.com/.

Quick Balanced Meal with Tyson® Chicken Nuggets

For the most part, I like to cook my family meals from scratch using fresh produce and other ingredients to make the meals as healthy as possible. When found in a time constraint, I keep certain frozen foods available in my fridge that are I know use 100% natural ingredients, and then complement with other fresh or home made accompaniments to ensure a balanced diet and meal for my whole family.

One of my quickest meals for evenings when we either get home late from sport practices, playdates or my husband and I have a night-out, I use the Tyson® Chicken Nuggets or the Tyson® Fun Chicken Nuggets that are 100% natural ingredients, all-white meat, juicy in the inside and crispy on the outside. Then, I complement these yummy chicken nuggets with rice, a green salad of arugula with spinach, with home made dressing and tomatoes to add some additional color as garnish.

I find it very convenient to have yummy chicken nuggets at home at all times and at the same time I know I am supporting an educational program that will serve our local schools.
